Recently, our providers at Solutions became certified with Dr. Charles Runel, MD’s methods for regenerative aesthetics. These are a series of minimally invasive procedures using the regenerative properties of concentrated blood plasma to invigorate the body and restore a more youthful look. These include the Vampire Facial® and Facelift®, P-Shot®, O-Shot®, Breast Lift® and even hair restoration. Dr. Runel’s methods included a new and improved way of getting more from the platelet rich plasma (PRP). We have incorporated the new techniques into our other procedures we use PRP for and seeing much better results! Keep reading to find out what the secret is and how we’re now getting much better results with back pain and spinal problems using these new techniques…
PRP is an easy, cost-effective way of experiencing some of the fantastic results of regenerative medicine. This procedure involves drawing a patient’s blood, then separating the blood cells from the plasma with a centrifuge. The plasma is then concentrated to be re-injected back into the patient in a specific area. Platelet Rich Plasma is injected into areas of acute or degenerative damage to stimulate healing. At Solutions, we’ve been using this procedure for a long time to help with musculoskeletal conditions and now even cosmetic procedures.
One of the newest techniques for PRP is adding Calcium Chloride to the plasma. This agent helps the PRP become thicker, helping it stick around for a longer period of time, giving it more time to work. We’ve also learned a new technique for using PRP in the spine. This involves injecting PRP into trigger points into sections of the lumbar or cervical spine once/week for three weeks and then followed by Neobiosis® regenerative medicine HCTP. This regimen is highly recommended for patients with chronic back or neck pain that suffer with severe osteoarthritic disc damage.
At Solutions, we are constantly searching for the latest breakthroughs in regenerative science so our patients can have the greatest benefit possible. Come to our clinic and you will get a team of caring experts delivering the most advanced regenerative therapies available.
