Many people are becoming more and more aware of the near miraculous effects of regenerative medicine on degenerative joints and chronic conditions. With recent coverage by major medical health insurance, the popularity of this application is on the verge of exploding (for qualified patients, Stem Cell Recruitment Therapy® is now a covered service by Medicare Plan B and numerous secondaries). Less people however are aware of the terrific benefits of regenerative medicine on many acute conditions. All the regenerative medicine allograft injections we offer at Solutions have a terrifically robust anti-inflammatory effect. This can help greatly in caring for acute soft tissue injuries like severe sprain/strains, torn ligament conditions and muscle tears.
Traditionally, anti-inflammatories/NSAIDs and steroids are primarily recommended in acute injuries for pain relief and reduction of swelling. Unlike these medications, regenerative medicine actually stimulates the body to heal; NSAIDs do not (and steroids actually cause the body to deteriorate). For conditions that require the body to ‘mend’ tissue (torn muscles and ligaments) cellular allograft injections directly into the injured site provide building blocks for the fastest healing possible. The rapid reduction of inflammation that regenerative medicine products give also helps greatly with pain relief. Anecdotally, several of the staff and many of our patients at Solutions have had incredible positive results with regenerative medicine and acute injuries. These include rotator cuff/shoulder problems, sprained ankles, muscle tears, spasms and even acute TMJ episodes.
