At Solutions Integrated Medicine, everything we do is designed to help the patient heal as completely and quickly as possible. We offer a wide range different types of regenerative medicine products and therapies. This gives us many options for treatment of not just difficult cases but also a wide variety of conditions. All of the treatments we offer are designed to help the patient regenerate new tissue, however work best when used in a synergistic fashion. For example, trigger point injections help get rid of pain, spasms and scar tissue in the back musculature. This greatly benefits chiropractic patients, as the spasms/scar tissue can cause uneven tension on the spine. Active trigger points make the vertebrae more difficult to adjust and contribute to correction taking longer (requiring more visits). In our experience, we find chiropractic patients who are also getting trigger point injections get better faster and hold their adjustments better.
Chiropractic care is also very synergistic with regenerative medicine. Allograft injections for damaged joints provide stem cells so new regenerative healing to occur. Chiropractic is a way to detect and remove any pinched nerves that could disrupt this process. It also helps with any structural issues that may occur as the joint is healing and muscles are rehabilitating. Orthotic shoe inserts can also add another synergistic layer. Correcting a fallen arch is an important step in restoring level joint spaces in the knees, hips and lumbar spine. This allows both chiropractic and regenerative medicine to work better. Rehab is also synergistic for both; strengthening the muscles, ligaments and tendons that stabilize the spine and joints and keep them functional.
